Manchester’s finest art-rock quintet Sylvette have dropped an astonishingly atmospheric live video of what is arguably the album’s standout track, ‘Borrowed Time’. This version, recorded in a dark, haunting studio lets the band to bare their souls. It’s a tender and introspective performance that allows every nuance of the emotionally-driven piece to shine within the pin-drop atmosphere of the room. Restricted to just piano and vocals, there is something almost Schubert-esque about this eerie recording. Their new album, Single Thread, is out now.
